Yep I got one, seems ok at the moment and genuine HP ink is cheap enough for it, not sure refills are going to be that much better value (though I am sure they will be cheaper). Easy enough to set up. Have only tried basic colour and black and white printing, dont think it will be much cop with photo printing but hopefully I am wrong!

Edit: Just realised the first printer OP quoted is the 3050, just with a different name. So the above is my opinion on his first option!

Most of the budget HP Wireless Printers only work on WEP (less secure), so if your wireless router is set to WPA or WPA2 it won't work.

WEP is much easier for someone else to crack.

You have a good point, I only use WEP because I only have the mobile dongle and crappy little huawei d100, and live in the arse end of beyond, so if anyone is using my connection I can see them as they will probably be sitting next to me!

Did look on the HP forum and there is only one offered solution which may or may not work and thats to remove any spaces from your passphrase. Doesn't sound like a wonderful solution to me. Disappointing if they are expecting people to drop their security level to use their printer.

I know this printer is a bit over your budget but when you look at the price of the ink you'll get back the extra yo yo's in no time..

Why buy refills when you can get the real deal for that price ;)

If you're still hunting I just got this on Amazon myself. You can avail of free shipping as it's over 25 pounds. It uses separate cartridges (I don't know if they're refillable) Costs about 45 euro.

I've the HP one from Argos that you linked to and am very happy with it, it prints pretty quickly, doesn't eat ink, and the photos that come out are pretty good too

Picked up this all-in-one HP wireless printer in Harvey Normans at weekend for €50, which seemed pretty good to me.

Not sure about the WEP/WPA stuff, parents got one a few weeks back and seems to bve working perfectly but not sure of set up.
Haven't gotten around to taking mine out of the box yet.

Although it does take 4 cartridges, not sure if thats a problem either...

Set it up this evening all was ok until the ink went calibrate. I only put a couple of sheets of paper in and it was 15 minutes doing nothing. Powered it off and but maybe 30 sheets in all was ok then.

Printed a couple of pictures on photo paper and scanned 1 page. Very happy overall and €25(in pc world) for a full set of genuine inks as well.;)

personally i believe that kodak printers are reliable printers and have good printing quality especially photos. plus the ink cartridges for kodak are the cheapest to buy and to refill. :D
