    Tottenham_Hotspur_FC_Sign_633804133180478750.jpg&t=1 V Manchester%20United%20FC%20logo.png

Spurs take on United in a fixture we haven't won in a decade, hopefully we can finally get a win here. United still on a league unbeaten run have Wayne Rooney and Vidic back in the frame with VDS possibly still out although he has been included in the traveling squad a late decision will be made.

    Spurs should line up
    Gomes
    Hutton--Dawson--Kaboul/Gallas-- BAE
    Lennon--Modric--Palacios--Bale
    VDV
    Defoe

anything but a defeat would be good in reality here for us but a win would really set us up nicely and keep us in fourth place for at least another week.

had to get rid of sky sports (dam budget) but will get to watch it some place , probably a mates house , it will be a tuff game for both teams , but if harry decides to go for it which he has all season , id say united might open them up on the break , history says its going to be a high scoring game , i just cant see it my self , as long as united dont lose ill be happy , as long as we keep Bale , Lennon and VDV quiet and Nani gets some decent runs and crosses in we should be fine , easier said than done . Spurs 1 (Defoe) United 2 (Rooney/Giggs)

I've a feeling the undefeated run could come to an end here. Hope not but this will be far a far tougher fixture than in previous years.

I reckon this could be game of the season, with both teams having the ability to put 2 or 3 past the other. Raphael v Bale, Nani v Essou Ekotto. Can't wait. Not to mention van der Vaart and Rooney.

    THIS WILL BE EPIC.

I have a feeling United will win this 1-0 because I think we will play our cautious c league approach and play 4-5-1 and will ctach spurs on the break, I think if we play 4-4-2 it could be 4-3 to either team

    No Modric

On clattenburg think he just folds to pressure pretty easy and also too quick with the cards imo

Not only that, but poor old Harry has a terrible record against us as well.

Should be a brilliant game, can't wait.:)

A case could be made for switching Scholes for Modric too.

when scholes is fit he is still uniteds best player especially in these types of games, there is no player in england that can do what he does, he is the closest thing to xavi there is, did you see what he did to newcastle earlier in the season

Great to see the ref is acceptable to you:D

Hope to see 442 from united and go for it. Raf vs bale could be a cracker but i think spurs back 4(+keeper) can be got at.

    Oh he can tackle alright.

Don't think those challenges are ''mistimed''. He knows exactly what he's doing.

    VDS
    Hutton --- King --- Vidic --- Evra
    Nani --- Fletcher --- Modric --- Bale
    VDV
    Rooney

    That is it.

I couldnt overlook Raf for the right back slot in a combined best XI tbh, he has been fantastic lately, really nailed down his spot in the team

Midfield and attacking players are up for debate, but IMO there's no way a Spurs player would crack the Utd defensive 5.

    VDS
    Rafael-Rio-Vidic-Evra

There aren't too many defensive units that are better than that.

    Rafael > Hutton.

Rio > King, even if King wasn't a complete crock.

Modric > Scholes these days though admittedly.

Either way hes a better player than King. Vital to United, their defensive displays drop a uge amount when he's absent.

He's an irrelevance these days to be fair.

Fully fit, I'd still take Rio and Vidic over him, best central defensive partnership in the game.

And if King and his glass knees is eigible then Hargreaves should probably be in that team as DM as well.

Yeah, but not as good as Rio or Vidic.

I usually find you mildly entertaining, but is there a need to act the bollox in your own team's match thread?

Vidic and Rio have, since 2006, racked up 3 PLs, a CL, a World Club Cup, a few CCs and a load of records (including the longest unbeaten run in the Champions League and a record number of clean sheets in British football).

I'm not sure why including Torres in the discussion is relevant - all it proves is that he can score against the best defenders around, which is hardly a revelation as he is top class.
It certainly doesn't prove that Ledley King is a better player than either of Utd's CBs.

Am sure Bale knows who it is after the last game. ;)
This guy could possibly be our next Evra just on the other wing. Many United fans screamed blah blah last season on here about him and once again they have egg on their faces, they need to take a step fookin back and look at the potential...
Only a handful see it here, obviously you don't as you have hutton in your team, but it's ok cos you want to be at our level and try to troll it as so but our level is unobtainable for you and all the CL scrape the 4th place qualifiers is the best you can hope for realistically.Arry thinks you can win the league ??? Not in this lifetime with City around...Uniteds demise may come but as sure as fook it will take a 1b spend to do it....
