    Thats pretty impressive technology

No it means you can't see things as clearly, that's all.

Sadly there's been no wide playa t all from United so far, hard to see where we're going to get a goal from, both sides are cancelling each other out for the most part.

    Glazers Out!

Rafael or VDV or possibly both are going to get sent off.

Modric is the best player on the pitch.

Fletcher has been very poor, as he has been all season.

I don't. I do however watch all their games and never see any of that. You don't think Rio ever barks at a ref to book a player? Same thing really.

No it means you can't see things as clearly, that's all.

Quality view of incidents does not guarantee quality objective interpretation of these incidents (Case in point Wenger!). .

If a spurs player did that challenge I imagine it wouldnt of even been mentioned!

Sums up Uniteds season so far, excellent defence and woeful midfield.

Rio will pull them aside at half time and say, "we don't do that here".

Spurs look like getting at least one.
Worringly for there's no signs of United be able to produce anything so far.

Flicking between this and the Munster match and just want to say that I couldn't see a whole lot of difference between Rafael's tackle and Gerrards last Sunday bar the colour of the card.

Take some of your own medicine. For every opportunity there has been to took a spurs player, has been taken so... I don't if it happened it would go unmentioned.

Better quality = more likely to see what actually happened and I can sky live rewind too :p

Rooney isn't waving an imaginary card so it's fine. Good ol' English spirit.

Yikes Crouch....surprised not more cards here. Wonder will it end with all men on pitch.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,500 ✭✭✭✭cson

Crouchie lucky there too. Not as bad as Raf's for me though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,306 ✭✭✭✭Drumpot

As much a Gray and Tyler have tried to hype this game its been very average at best.

Will the "neutrals" be complaining about Crouchie getting away with same tackle as Rafael ? I think we all know the answer to that .

Foot raised shin height studs showing, dangerous tackle. Auto red, apparently not... If that was a spurs player he would of been sent off. Kicking the ball away auto yellow. Equivalent punishement, nope.

As you could see I responded that I too am annoyed when City players do the same. I'm not saying it is unique to Utd at all.............Good lord man, get a grip. If you've me on ignore for that well then it must be a nightmare for u trying to navigate this forum with the amount of posters you'd have on ignore!!:D

Funny you should mention it, been there last week and got certified 20/20. Then again, maybe it's because I don't own a pair of Red Tinted Specs that I have the opinion I have.

Why would you need to rewind and rewatch an incident that you say you clearly saw on first viewing ?

Try an iq test then cos there was a world of difference between the tackles.

Really, its red tinted specs that allow me to see that Rafs tackle was nothing like Gerrards?

I must wear them more, because they allow me to see basic, straightforward things clearly. Yet despite you not wearing them and having perfect 20/20 vision you cant and end up looking like a fool.

    Strange that

Not just that Gerrard had both feet off the ground that is an automatic red.

Studs showing on one foot is not an automatic red, although I know sometimes things are more clearcut when its united players in question, if in doubt give the benefit to whatever is best for United's opponents ! ! ;)

Great game so far, nothing in it really. I'd say the first goal wins it.

Would love to see Ando and Scholes on!

Rafael was on the ground and Palacios was in the air, opposite to Gerrard's tackle = 1 difference.
Gerrard used two feet, Rafa used one = 2 differences.
Gerrard basically jumped into Carrick, Rafa slid towards Palacios = 3 differences.

Rafa deserved a yellow, but ffs if you can't see the difference between his and Gerrard's tackle then there's something very wrong with your eyesight.
