Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey. looking to get this phone on emobile.

    http://www.emobile.ie/phonesplansmore/phones/details/?id=56
    Just a few things I hope you guys can help me with.

    I know its currently on android 1.6...any word of an update? I don't use the internet too much so am I at much of a disadvantage?

    Probably will get it on the select 100 plan with a 200 text add on. Should amount to 25 euro. I looked around and haven't seen a better offer.

    What should I do with my old phone? (LG Renoir..unlucky I know)

    Lastly I heard it tends to connect to the internet by itself. I assume there's a way to disable this?

    Thanks in advance.

    eMobile = Meteor

    Same company just aimed at different age groups.

    The phone will never get the Android 2.2 update (unless you install it yourself) as SE have decided not to. It should get a 2.1 update though.

    Was thinking about getting it myself but the lack of 2.2 killed it for me.

    Yeah but meteor don't have it on their site for some reason. Not the pro version anyway.
    As I said 2.2 update doesn't concern me too much as I don't use internet/wifi a lot.

    A couple of people have reported issues (including me) with network connections and battery life after updating to 2.1. Mines on 3 and currently "somewhere" being fixed (I hope). I went from 2 days battery life using it a bit, to 10 hours battery life not using it at all.
