Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi Folks
I am wondering has anyone holidayed & toured using the 'greenway' or Voies Vertes in France and have any good or bad experience to share. We are looking to ditch the car for a few days and tour on very quiet roads and Greenway cycle paths
I'd be grateful for any info

Hi, yeah I did a fair bit a few years ago on the voies vertes, comments are that maps of them are hard to come by, especially as they tend to be divided up into small (30km max) routes, so individual départements and regions have different maps. The starts and ends can be hard to find too and the surfaces aren't great.

On the plus side a lot of them are lovely routes, away from cars and through really nice bits of countryside. I would say it depends on whether you're trying to go fast or not, they're not good for getting places but make the trip itself a lot more pleasant.

Coast road is fine. I went to St. Pierre Eglise and that way last year. Sitck to the D roads and you should be fine.
