Im thinking of planting beech hedging along my front garden boundary walls. My question is......how quick does the beech hedging grow? I like the look of it in the wintertime,with the brown/ornage dead leave,but I like the fact that it doesnt seem to lose the dead leaves either. It looks nice and looks seasonal too. Just…

Just want to find out about its growth patterns 1st,as I dont want a monster of a hedge taking over my garden.

Ah beech wont take over your garden, once you keep it clipped and tidy. They are low enough maintenance compared to some evergreen hedging! I wont name any names.
