Alas, it was just a dream. At least if he bankrupted the country at a casino, I'd have thought he was a badass. His method of ruining the economy wasn't quite as cool...

He just can't be so mother****ing stupid to thing that he has any rights here, he has done nothing but be a complete embarassment to anyone with an Irish Passport! Would he not just use his tiny pip for a brain and give it up!

This wont make any difference in the general scheme of things, but it does please me to see him go.

100 years ago him and his kind would have been locked in stocks for less than .1% of what they have done, they have destroyed this country and all we stood for in less than 10 years, why the fcuk have Irish people become so weak,if I could do one thing political it would be to abolish the secret ballot act, then we could all see who is in the pockets of these basterds and make them pay.

How very true... I never would have thought of it that way. That probably makes it that bit more depressing! I'll have to wait at least 10 years to come home the bastard!

Eh? I don't choose the time The Sunday Times chooses to release its cover story... 10 pm was the guideline they gave on twitter, and they let it out a few minutes earlier

    If he resigns:

I still think the country is up the creek sans paddle..

I don't think the whole mess is personally due to the actions of only Brian Cowen.

Where is Bertie Ahern.. I think he just sneaked off in the good times.

Honestly as a person (Brian Cowen) I think he is being shafted, all the members of his party surely made the decisions with him in the good times.

Now when the shiv hits the fan they all make out like it was all his fault.

I'm not saying he was/is a good leader nor did I vote for them..

But WHO is going to sort out all the mess now?

I don't see anyone I would loan a fiver to, let alone run the country!

sad fecked up times we are in :(

Not many argue this, but to come out and say its nonsense about getting a bailout and then 48 hours later to announce the agreement of, low and behold, a ****ing Bailout....he still dug his own grave.

Cowen is like Tony Montana at the end of Scarface. He's fúcked, he knows he's fúcked, we know he's fúcked but it doesn't seem like he's going down without a fight.

    FINISH HIM! :D

Martin will reveal Biffo has an autographed photo of Enda which he kisses good night every night before he carefully places it under his pillow,or Ould Michael may nark on Biffo's stash of Royal Family porn.

Unfortunately March isn't guaranteed. Don't they get another pension if its after a certain date in March? (23rd if I remember correctly). Can see why I'd think of it as only a small consolation.

Did you just compare Tony Montana to Brian Cowan?

Bertie is hiding in his News of the World fecikng cupboard. The little weasel that he is!

Brian is a plonker and just shouldn't be in power. He need a good bitch slapping upside the head. Not it's not all his fault, but he was there from the beginning and has a hand in the **** up that is driving everyone to leave the country. He will go down in history as the worst leader Ireland ever had.

yeah I agree with you there...

But.. I still don't think he would have made all of those decisions either by himself completely.

It was an absolute joke saying no, no bail out and then complete turnaround.

I just mean I don't think it is all personally down to him, I'm sure the other members had a say or advised him on what to say.

Just the whole thing stinks of 12 year olds bitching about each other behind the others back kind of thing :(

I still think he is being shafted if he is forced to resign..

Ooops even John Bruton says its the Civil Service run the country not the politicians.

I agree with you, Fox. I think Cowen is going to take the bullet for the mistake of blind party allegiance and trying to cover the shady dealings overseen by his predecessor.
I;m not a FF-er by any stretch but I do remember thinking that BC was a breath of fresh air when he took office. He was a breath of fresh air compared to the stench that went before......... bad farts do linger though.

At least Haughey could charm the knickers off a nun (and probably did). Corrupt ****er 100% yes, but at least he charmed the country before he ****ed them.

Biffo is a characterless prick, who hadn't the common sense to stand down of his own accord when he sold the country down the toilet!

Get a glass of water for that cough...:)
