Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Lidl's Sat Mounting Bracket

Well after a little more than a year my Lidl's Sat Mounting Bracket gave up, as predicted by many here, this is the 2nd Lidl's bracket to go on me in a few years, last time I replaced it with one a friend had since he mounted his Lidl's sat to an existing Sky bracket. Now I have two options either buy a new dish or just a new bracket. I assume a typical Triax Dish doesn't come with a mounting bracket and since my Lidl's dish probably still has some life left in it I was thinking of just getting a new bracket. Would any standard bracket work with an 80cm Lidl's dish?

Go for a 80cm Triax or something like that. Throw the Lidl dish in the bin.

Lidl brackets are pure rubbish. The dishes while not quite as bad are really only suitable for temporary setups (migrant workers/rented houses/newbies testing the water before buying a proper dish)

You can get a decent bracket on its own that will last and will fit your Lidl dish.
