New League Celbridge Gaa Club Friday Nights

After our successful tournament last year, we have decided to do it again. Hopefully attracting more players from the surrounding areas. Our league final last year had over €2500 to play for after a 10 week league. Each week a small amount from each player is withheld from the nightly prizefund and added to the prize pool to be played for at the end of the league. A few details still to be discussed, just wanted to post this as soon as possible to give any interested players some notice.. I will have a completed set of rules posted up here before wednesday night,at the latest.

3. Date and Location of event: Friday Nights
4. Registration and Start time of event. 8pm Reg /8.30pm Start
5. Any prerequisites (member of club, society etc)None
6. How can tickets be purchased & is there a maximum number (in advance, at the door etc.) Nope
7. Type of Tournament (Hold'em/Omaha etc Freezeout/Rebuy etc.) Freezeout
8. Cost of entry and any subsequent rebuys/top-ups etc. 30euro
9. Cost of registration: Free
10. % of entry fee/rebuys/top-up going into Prize fund 100%
10a. Is any money from the prize fund held back for future tournaments, if so, how much Yes for the final of the league..Depends on number..Will post further info when available
11. Any guarenteed prize pool. No
12. If applicable, Number of re-buys allowed and over what time frame/blind levels. None
13. Starting Chips Tbc.. Last league was 12000.. will confirm before wednesday..
14. Rebuy and Top-up chip amounts. None
15. Blind levels 20 mins
16. Blind timeframes
17. Places being paid and if any prizes are other than cash (free entry to other tournie, merchandice etc) Will depend on numbers..
18. Are there going to be dealers - and their level of skill..None..Self dealt 0% registration.

There is a game on 2mrw in the club 30euro in with a 30euro rebuy or top up.
Not the league but should be a good game.

Starting Time 8.30pm.

League System.
The top 15 players on a night will be awarded extra points on the following basis-


1st 150, 2nd 140, 3rd 130, 4th 120, 5th 110

6th 100, 7th 90, 8th 80, 9th 70, 10th, 60

11th 50, 12th 40, 13th 30, 14th 20, 15th 10

Each player that plays on the night gets 150points.

League games will be Freezeout! 30euro

Each player must play in 7 league games to quailify for the Grand Final. Entry to the Grand Final is 50euro ( to increase prize pool ) Any player who quailifies (plays 7 games and pays the entry fee) CANNOT nominate someone else to play on their behalf in the Grand Final under any circumstances.

Money will be with-held each night to put towards the Grand Final.
(Last years Final had Over 2500euro in prize money) This year will be Bigger!

Blinds Will be 20 Mins and no player is allowed join the game after the third blind level.There is a penalty for late players off 500chips for every blind level missed. Along with the stack been blinded so be there EARLY!

The League will run for 12nights.

This is a Self Dealt League. The Club takes no money from the prize pool on any night ALL money is either paid out on the night or kept back for the league. 0% registration.

Yes plenty of time to join the league.. the only rule is that you will have to play 7 league games to quailify for the final.. there is 10 league games left.. the final standing on the league table will determine your starting stack for the final..so the sooner you join the bigger your chip stack will prob be.. have had a huge turnout for this tounament already with more people expected to join this week and next.. hope to see you up there tonight..bring as many people along as you like.. the more that play the bigger the prize pool..
