Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

With all due respect, the op never mentioned trouble in obtaining a shop open on a Sunday, only that he wanted cables off someone here or any other help in getting them, for all I knew he might not have know they a readily available in shops as spares without needing to get the shop to install as well.

However while I'll admit I said it tongue in cheek, it wasn't smart arse (that's not my style), and it certainly didn't warrant a reply like that. Mod warning noted (my first) but I do find it hard to swallow that my comment be held in the same light as such personal insults.

Anyway op hope you got cables op and sorry if my post got you the wrong way,it wasn't meant as such, but insults are better left at the playground.

Btw if you had asked if there were bikes shops open on a Sunday and said where you are located i could have whipped them all off the top of my head for you, as I'm always only happy to help anyone I can on this forum.

Denis, if you're asking for something like this it helps to say roughly where you live. People are not going to cycle halfway across the country to give you a gear cable.
