will UPC be coming to Clare?

    Will upc ever be coming to the clare area i keep hearing rumours of it..... eircom are getting away with charging ridiculous prices for phone and broadband im sick of them!

    Depends on where you are in Clare.

    UPC already provide TV, Phone and Broadband in some parts of Shannon. They also provide Phone/BB in Westbury which is technically in Clare but a suburb of Limerick City. :-)

    Most of the rest of Clare just has UPC MMDS TV. Kilkee etc and probably won't be getting BB anytime soon as the BB/Phone is only available in cabled (urban) areas.

    Im in meath and have MMDS TV but now also have broadband and phone it just a simple matter of them putting new cable down and also being able to get back there cost of laiding down the new cable.

    Well I'm in a densely populated area in ennis and all we have is eircom and imagine.
