Depron as Under Tile Insulation ?

We have a concrete floor downstairs, house is about 10 years old.
Built in Dublin, usual dry lined insulated walls with cavity block to exterior.

The problem is that our tiled floors get really cold, I measured them 8 degrees C during the cold snap while the inside air temperature was 17 degrees C, it's especially bad near the corners of the house.

We are renovating and I want to lift the old tiles (big job I know) and apply insulation before re-tiling.

Depron seems to be the solution, it's thin (6mm) and has very low thermal conductivity.
It's recommended as insulation under floor heating systems.

Has anyone applied this in this way before?

I'm not considering underfloor heating though.

    Thanks.

    Update:
Depron is no good for under tiles, too much flex...

    Tilebackerboard is the recommended material.
