Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How does that work out financially better?
Also why did you centre the text on that post!?

Have offer of 16K on the accord so I should clear at least 8K. I realise I'll take a hit on the road tax.

Not many votes for the French cars so far! I heard the Laguna was fairly solid after 05 facelift.

I've driven the vectra and the mondeo and have to say I preferred the vectra - I think it was the 120bhp. It was really comfy and quiet on the road and was pokey enough as well.

I have been looking at afew diesel astra/vectra's myself and they seem ok but they just have a bad rep in Ireland for some reason ? :p

Maybe I hang out here too much but the mazda diesel and passat seem to have more problems than most. The Saab 93 is 90% vectra. S40 interesting though....

The older 1.9 diesels which have done over 100k miles and have had all the big work done like timing belt/waterpump, heater Matrix (a huge job) discs & pads front & rear, couple of tyres, glow plugs changed etc would be the best thing to get.
