Looking price for small pair of speakers for kitchen and possibly bathroom... had thought the BA Soundware satellites that come with the XS 5.1 package... do you sell them seperate?

I have seen pairs for sale described as 2 way speaker, weatherproof... are these the same speakers as what come with the 5.1 package??

    Appreciate your thoughts.

    Hi Peter.

Apologies for the delay in getting back. We have lots of catching up to do on here.

The Boston speakers are available separately.

They are great little speakers, although being so small, they are not terribly heavy on the bass front.

They are priced at £99.95 and in terms of small speakers are as good as you'll get under £100.

We also stock the Monitor Audio Radius 45's which are a very neat, and very nicely finished speaker. These sell for £169.95 and I could do you a pair for £135.

Neither are "weatherproof" but it depends on where you are looking to mount them. Bathroom, sauna, swimming pool :) ?

Let me know what you think and where are you mounting them and I'll let you know if you are safe to go for them.

The speakers (2 pairs) would be for the kitchen and the bathroom... do q acoustics do a weatherproof version? I'm sure I read that somewhere on the net?

    Hi Peter.

Sorry for the late reply, just back from illness.

Yes, they do make a waterproof pair of speakers but they are not the same speaker as the XS satellite speakers.

They are quite a bit larger.

These are priced at £155 for a pair and are available in a few different colours.

I hope this helps and apologies for the delay in getting back to you.

Is £155 the best you can do for the pair? Have you many of these in stock in the Belfast Store?

    Peter,

apologies for the late reply - those Soundware speakers are available to special order only and the best price we do on them is £149 - however if teh usage is just Kitchen & Bathroom the standard XSB Boston Satellites would be fine ( although as Dave says they are a little bass light) We do these at £89.95 a pair.

Apologies again for the delay & Please do keep me posted if we can assist in any way,

    ATVB,
