Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just had a look at my Sky dish mounted on the wall yesterday, its the usual one with small holes in it and rusty, but the L bracket on the wall is ready to fall off.

Would Sky give me a new dish ???

    Not usually, it's your dish.

    You can refurbish it.

Sky will replace it with a new one for whatever the standard call-out charge is now. Alternatively, you might DIY with a cheap StolenFromSky dish off eBay plus a cheap alignment meter.

Paint the dish and brackets if you want them to last. You can use any colour (but preferably matt and non-metallic) to make the dish less obtrusive against its surroundings.

Well, some are selling for half the trade warehouse price so it doesn't take a genius to guess...

For those readers that missed Coffee this morning:

Sky Installer goes to do Sky Install. Discovers a dish already there. "Pockets" the Sky supplied dish and often LNBF. Doesn't tell anyone except eBay.
