A stay wire from ESB pole(upon which granted planning permission sign was on) planted along the entrance to our site upon which commencement of build is supposed to be taking place on Jan 24th - How long will it take to remove?
Is it simply a phonecall or could this be long and drawn out? STRESS!!

    Hi WKD

I can imagine you are under a lot of stress at the moment, and that you need a quick answer if you are starting your build on Jan 24th.

The quickest way to find out what you can do in this case is to contact ESB Networks. You can either email them at esbnetworks@esb.ie or telephone them on 1850 372 757. They will advise you on the best course of action in this situation.

    Many thanks
    Chris

Then a site visit will be done if it isn't already.

It's hard to gather from your post, but was the pole and stay there all the time?

If not, then have a chat with the NT or EO who calls out to see the job, or give them a shout with your concerns.

You should get a pack in the post from Networks with all the paperwork within.

Well the actual pole has been there all the time. There are two derelict houses on the site. But for some reason the stay has only been attached recently for some random reason. And bc the site is over grown you cannot see the gate with all the hedging so they obv did not realize this was where we need to gain access from!! Spoke to arch and hoping to have it sorted soon!!

It may have been just replaced.

Probably spotted when your site visit was done, most likely.

Still, I'm sure they'll sort something out.
