Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Problem burning to CD-Rs

    Hi,

I've been trying to burn some audio cds for the past couple of hours with no success. I've tried different programs but it seems to be boiling down to a problem with the CD-R discs. Looking at the cd drive in my computer, it's saying that each of the CD-Rs has around 100mb of data already on them, which is not possible as it's a brand new spindle, and also when i check the discs there is no info on them. I'm using Vista and have never had this problem before, so is it just a bad batch of CD-Rs (they are tesco ones after all!) or is it something else?

    Thanks for any help.

    More info would help...

i take it you've tried playing a working CD on your computer??
Do you have Nero installed on your machine! terrible pain in the ass that one!
is it every cd from the spindle?

i find it very hard to blame tesco on this! making CD's is such a universal procedure now that they are all the same, just usiing different materials!

    :p
