UPC 8mb question

    Hi guys, I just got a text from UPC few weeks back that my 5mb connection has been upgraded to 8mb.

    Im just curious does that increase my download limit? If so how much?
    I tried to search info on 8mb connection on the UPC website but its not there anymore.

    no you still be on same download limit it just a speed increase sorry

    Where are you getting this information from? The 8Mbit package used to have 120GB allowance.

    upc website 1mb 15GB 8mb 40GB and 10 and 15mb 120GB and 20mb and 30mb 250GB and last 100mb 500GB

    For the usage limits even when the product pages state 'Unlimited' for some of their packages, they state that even unlimited is still subject to their acceptable usage policy.

    This policy page lists the allowances under the Section 3: Data Transfer Allowances, Excessive Use and Other Limitations;

    • 15GB for Fibre Power Broadband 1Mb users
    • 40GB for Fibre Power Broadband 8Mb users
    • 120GB for Fibre Power Broadband 10Mb and 15Mb users
    • 250GB for Fibre Power Broadband 20Mb and 30Mb users and
    • 500GB for Fibre Power Broadband 100Mb users.
