Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hi

the lcd of my camera recently broke so i thought about repairing it myself

i ordered a replacement lcd off ebay ,got it today, fit it on but it doesnt light on

while if i put back the cracked lcd at least it still lights on

what are the chances that the problem is the actual lcd which i have received?

phisically the lcd looks a bit different than mine but i dont know if that could make a difference? the connections are the same as mine so could be just an aesthetical difference

Something must be wrong though if the new part wont light where the old one does, get an exchange on the part

Are you absolutely certain that the replacement part is compatible with your camera? The connections may look the same be could be wired completely differently.
