Not sure, but I upgraded my old NB's to the Adidas XCS and it's like night and day - more like runner with spikes, with the right support and protection rather than spikes with a fabric to keep your feet warm.

Yep was looking at the XCS also hard to get in my size, spent last weekend on a hunt for spikes and came home with nothing. :(

Ordered mine from Bourne Sports - came in 2 days - delivery is a little high, but the base price still brings them in cheaper than most.

Will check them out now, noticed that I some how managed to crack all the plastic on my old spikes in the last XC race, not sure if it was the ice or mud or rocks that did it.

Shels, I got Asics XC spikes at Wheelworx at Liffey Valley.

They also had the Saucony, but I found them to be a very narrow fit, so they were no good for me (I don't have particularly wide feet either)

Picked up a pair size 8.5 last week in runways 55 euro, wore them at the weekend, found them really light on my feet and comfortable, It's my 1st pair of spikes so I'm not an expert....
