Heading to Italy during the summer and want to hire one of the new Alfa Giuliettas while I'm there.

Figured this would be fairly easy to do, but can't I find any company offering them near where I'm staying (Genova).

    Can anyone help?

Nice choice. But from my uncle buying one in germany he's finding it hard to get a 1750ti in 8c red with sat nav...and you'd think on the continent they'd be easy to get...

It's meant to be a sharp drive as well, which is just as well as the forthcoming globalised Focus is meant to be quite a step backwards - it's the first Ford since the MkVI Escort in 1995 I can recall being slated for not being a decent drivers' car.

Apparently the steering feel was sacrificed because the new model is to appeal to a much broader audience(and because it now has electric power steering for the first time - though that shouldn't count as an excuse as the current Fiesta has EPS too and is meant to be every bit as sharp as its predecessor was).

This fails to ignore the fact that the Mk1 Mondeo was a world car and had praise heaped upon it for the way it drove, and more recently the Mk1 Focus is a great car to drive and that sold extremely well across the world for them.

I really like the look of the Alfa. You can have it with a properly powerful 170 bhp petrol engine yet it is still in band B - having your cake and eating it. It's just a pity that because this is Ireland so few will be sold.
