    Hi lads,

Got the Sagem 500GB model from yourselves on Monday. I presume it's a refurb (which isn't a problem, price was good), but it appears I've been supplied the wrong power cable with it (which is a bit more of a problem!). I got a figure-8 type supply, like the old tape recorders used to have, but the connection on the box is a single pin 12V supply. Now, the last couple of evenings have been a bit hectic, so I might have missed the other half of the cable in the box or something, but is it possible to get the correct supply if I have been given the wrong one?

    :D

    Blast,

not a refurb - they were all BNIB and it's sad that you must be the same age as me to be here talking about tape recorders!

There should be a 12V power supply in the box (ie a transformer) and thats what the fig 8 lead plugs into - so head straight to the green bin (wheer the box probably is) and see if you can rescue it :D

If it's not present drop me a line and we will get you a replacement..

    Keep me posted,

    ATVB,

Apologies, John, I should have known Richer Sounds wouldn't foul up, rescued the other half of the cable from the bin! :D

Now to start playing with the new toy...
