Has there been an accident somewhere?

Traffic is even worse than usual and guards, ambulances and fire engines are zooming around with their sirens on?

Im not to bothered about what did or didn't happen; I'm just wondering if a certain road needs to be avoided or not; I have to travel outside of the city this evening and have no wish to spend hours stuck in traffic purely because I took the wrong route. That's hardly curtain twitching in fairness.

You could check www.aaroadwatch.ie they are usually pretty good at that type of thing. Traffic seems normal at the moment anyway - Quinncentary Bridge, Headford Road, Newcastle area.

Sometimes they do it as tests to check response times and as drills. It could just be that.
