Hi Guys

Could anyone help me finding a list of upcoming talks and lectures in Dublin.
Hopefully some are for free. I'd be looking along the lines of Philosophy, political (Science or current affairs) ect.

I know the art museum do a lot. But I don't have much interest in art.

Any help would be great. Thanks alot guys.

A nice mixture of talks are on in the RIA, usually a mix of philosophical/scientific/current affairs topics throughout the year http://www.ria.ie/Events/Events-Listing.aspx These are usually free

Some good "popular science" lectures with the met society http://www.irishmetsociety.org/programme - although some a re embers onyl I think.

The science gallery beside Trinity has sciencey/arty talks/ehibitions http://www.sciencegallery.com/events and membership is free!

I'm sure there are loads more but that all I can think of for now!

Mary Mulvihill's science@culture bulletin (http://scienceculturebulletin.wordpress.com/) used to have a great list of these kinds of events, the website seems out of date but she may still do the mailing list (see link on the right).

The Alchemist Cafe (http://www.alchemistcafedublin.com/) have been quiet for the last while but are, as far as I know, planning some stuff soon.
