Hopefully not a PS1 issue!

    Hi guys and gals
I turned on my PS1 today for the first time in 9 years; it's a quality console; anywho Abe's Odyssey works fine (as far as the user menu, didn't try any further) but Army Men: Omega Soldier flickers on screen (does this in game and on the menu) and Command and Conquer has colourfull squares at the top of the screen and the audio stutters; Anyone encounter anything similar to this?

Good ol' dose or laseritus from the sounds of it. Run the game with the console upside down (it takes the weight off the spindle & rules out a motor problem), failing that it's prob the laser diode. Clean the lens incase it's dirty.

The tv was causing audio stutters? Was it an rf tuning issue perhaps?
