Is there such thing as circuit board barrier spray or the like?

Hi all,

I have a circuit board outside controlling the door entry in its normal weather proof housing. Over the cold weather, the insects got into the box and shorted a track or two... which is now repaired and up running again. I have resealed all possible entries to the box with mastic to keep out the spiders etc., but would also like to coat the board in some sort of sealer spray/barrier spray to stop possible shortages by insects etc again. Any such thing exist?

Yes such a thing does exist, they call it conformal coating. You can get it in liquid or spray form.
