Something I never, ever, ever understand about America is that a lot of their people say they're patriotic, but the vast majority claim they're a different nationality.

Much the same way they insist on imposing freedom on other countries through occupation by the the US military machine.

Its actually no wonder that Irish stereotypes still exist in America and across the world with tools like that producing what only can be described as pure tripe.

For a country built on immigrants it makes sense, when people emmigrate they pass on their tradition to the next generation and impose a sense of identity and pride in where they're from. Nearly every american you meet will tell you where their roots are while being a proud american as well.

This song however is ****ing bull****!

as an Irishman Living in a foreign country I find this an embarrasment :(

I do not wish to be ascosiated with these sort of Gobsh!tes or their Barstool version of Irish history.

I got as far as 52 seconds in, saw the IRA badge and turned it off.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis (whoever they are) can f*ck off.

This song sample this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MH6Ed4V3tpo
The Beirut song has nothing to do with Ireland, their music combines elements of Eastern European and Balkan folk.

This guy rapping needs to brush up on his dictation and pronunciation, i can't understand a word he says. This song is obviously aimed at wannabe irish Americans!

Someone should let Zach Condon know these clowns are butchering his music.

The Music is deadly, someone needs to put DECENT lyrics to it

  • Registered Users Posts: 391 ✭✭Sonovagun

The only thing I hate more than Irish Americans who fall for all the cliches is the 'real Irish' who put them down for having some pride in their ethnicity (misguided as it is).

    Oh and I hate rap
