Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I rather stupidly took the battery out of my lap top for a days to punish my errant sons so that thery couldn't play club penguin. Now it is only charging intermittantly when it was fine before. Has anyone come across this? Is it just a casde of buying a new battery. Any help would be appreciated. Lost without it!

How old is the laptop battery ?
    Batteries do die.
I've a dell laptop that's 3 years old and the battery is dying on it.

But if it's relatively new, then check that you've seated the battery properly back in it's compartment. Maybe give the electrical contacts a little clean if they look dirty.

Alternatively, it could be the power supply cable.
After years of bending the cable, they tend to intermittently fail.
