FREE out of date film

I have roughly 40 rolls of very out of date Fuji Superia 400 iso, dated 2006! If anyone wants to take them, I can meet in the Dublin south county/city area. I could split too if there are a few people who might want them.
They may be handy as test rolls for light leaks, or you might just want to take a punt and see how it looks after a few years
My one caveat would be that I'd love to see the results!

Slightly off topic and I don't actually want any myself but..

What effect does using out of date film have on a photo??
and if these rolls are 4-5 years out of date why are ye guys picking them up - if you can use them then why do they need an expiry date??

Colours can be a bit off in out of date film, but it can (IMO) make some pretty funky images, and is better for people who are starting in film, or developing to use as they aren't paying a bomb for wasting film.

effects i've seen in out of date film include loss of sensitivity, colour shifts, murkiness and mottling. some worked well, some did not.

I think this could be an interesting project. Everyone who gets some agrees on a final date and posts up a few of their results and we choose who got the best result with their expired film.

We can call it "Best Before"

Im sure all these lovely posters will snap up the offer but
if there is any left over looking for a home ill rescue them!
