Was thinking of getting a new chain for the racing season ahead. Have heard KMC chains are the biz.
    Anyone have any advice?

A far superior chain than Sh1tmano make . KMC or Connex chains are best in my opinion , Shimano just dont last the same distance .

I got a Kmc chain to replace my Campag chain and i have to say i'll never buy a Campag chain again. The Kmc fits together a lot easier than the campag runs a lot smoother and it's a lot quieter and i'd go so far as to say it shifts better too, oh and it's lighter.

Best chains bar none- longer lasting, stronger and nice shift. Split link is simplicity in both function and strenght. BUY WITH CONFIDENCE

Has anyone used the KMC 11 speed chain to replace the campag one? What type of chain tool does it need?

According to these lads the missing link still works for the 11 speed with no issues.

I usually go for a KMC X10-93 -- they work well, last reasonably well, are easy to clean and (important) silver. They're about £25 from CRC and come with a removable link (no faffing with one-use pins a la Shimano).

I thought these Mavic were good and only a tenner - http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=33382?

Yeah used the Mavic as well on a campy drivetrain without any issue's.
Only a tenner if you are buying 5 or more.
    Mini Group buy?
