Rio royale 2nd, again alot of placed efforts but no winners.

2:30 - Incomparable (currently 8.2 on betfair)
Competitive race and I like a few but Incomparable stands out. Goes very well in Wolverhampton his last 5 outings here over 5f have seen him place 4 and win 1, off a decent mark and should have a chance.
To back him you have to forgive him his last run and you would prefer a better draw.

4:30 - Provost (currently 8.6 on betfair)

Another competitive race and again a few I like but a few more positives for Provost, Graham Gibbons is on him. A better draw than last time and may have needed the run having been off for 2 1/2 months and was not digraced in a 5th spot 2 1/2 lenghts defeat. He's a CD winner from last summer off 56 and is off 59 tomorrow.

4:30 - Provost (got on at 7.8 but reduction factor now has me at 7.25)

I'll see how these go before maybe getting on Master dor - plump 4:50, I had put him up here at the start of the log for a win 2 starts back at 10s I think and I stayed loyal for his last run but it only placed but did finish like a train.
He looks a tough enough ride and there are a few others with good form but further should suit.

Has done OK in last 2 over 9f, has a good draw and a jockey claiming 5, his only dangers from what I can see is crossword and even moreso Jakes revenge.

Master dor was a NR yesterday but is running in Leicester 3:00, his main danger will be duke of Ormonde. Got on at 4.8

Bodie finished about 5th, pulled very hard from the start, game over, did try to keep on though and maybe one to keep an eye on if it can settle. Jacks revenge wins.

NR, which suggests to me that the connections really fancy this one to win and want to give it every possible advantage and with such a poor draw today is not to be.

I noticed Misaro in the 5:00 also and managed to get a few quid on at 7.6 before dropping kids to school, now he's gone into 6.6.
This is another previous selection of mine and finished 3rd in Lingfield last time out. Havn't looked at the card properly yet but it does have a good draw and jockey (Probert)

More of a Southwell runner where he has notched up a couple of wins a few months back, he has run once in Wolverhampton and ran well, off a good mark and a good draw and has a jockey that rides him regularly. I feel the price is a bit too big.

4:30 - Metropolitan chief (got on at 12.75/3.80, went in again)
Not alot to say on this other than I don't like anything else other than the favourite but price is too short for me.
Metropolitan chief will enjoy going back to this trip, good draw and a jockey who rode him to his last win. This mark should be within his reach.

5:30 - Avonrose (got on at 5.30 on betfair)
A beaten odds on favourite last time out but she is consistent and a trip back down to 7f should suit and has a nice draw.

A bit of dutching here for interest, the favourite should go well here, she won with todays jockey then took 4 months off and came back over CD only to be beaten by a head. Todays jockey will take a few lbs off and has a good draw.
