Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Working part-time?

I am wondering if anyone knows whether or not I am entitled to anything from the social welfare.

I was on job seekers for 12 months before I got a job. The job is great but as its a new business the hours are only part time (approx 10 hours per week). I am in this position for six months now and to be honest I had thought I would be full time by now but the business is just not there yet.

Does anyone know if I could claim from the social welfare for the days I do not work even though I claimed job seekers for 12 months?

BTW - I am currently looking for a full time job now.

    Thanks

If you work less than five days a week you can be means tested and may qualify for a casual payment. You would be deducted a fixed amount for each day worked after submitting weekly slips.
