    And? The engine is at optimal temperature for all this time thats not the same as letting an engine idle at -10.

    I'm just telling you what was written in my manuals.

    I think car manufacturers with extensive research behind them know a bit more than the people who won't sit in a cold car in the morning.

    If it increases the engine idle speed it's not idling really is it ;)

    I suppose not, increases rpm to approx 1200 rpm, so good point.
