Red Dead was one of my favourite games from last year.

would agree with most of the list here. not a fan of mass effect 2 but can understand why people voted for it. red dead is a classic. best online game in my opinion was a tie between lara croft and the guardian of light, medal of honor or black ops. while it was a good game i cant understand the hype on boards for battlefield 2. the pleasant surprise for me this year was enslaved, a truly beautiful game. a few games which i felt were worth a mention in 2010 were alan wake, mafia II, assassins creed brotherhood, medal of honor and deadly premonition.
