    Hello, I was wondering, how`long does it take to become a solicitor.
    With a bcl or llb law degree.
    And with a normal 3 years BA degree?
    how long is spent in the law society etc.
    Thanks.

    Law degree = 3/4 years

    Fe 1s = 8 exams, will take at least a year on average, more likely 1.5 years.

    apprenticeship = 2 years.

    So thats at very least 6 years, but with the way things are now, its taking people a decent few goes to pass the fe1s, then nobody can find an apprenticeship so whatever time that delay is you can add that on too.
