    is all household bonding to be 10sq these days?

    what is the rule regarding bonding a radiator in a bathroom with plastic pipes to sink?

    any help appreciated thanks

    if it's not screwed to foil backed slab and doesn't have copper extending through the floor-it may not be extraneous

    amd doesn't need to form part of the bathroom local bond

    1 metre of tap water in 15mm rad pipe apparently has a resistance of 100Kohm

    The high resistance/impedence of water is definitely right. Many assume its a good conductor because we hear of it making electrical shocks far more dangerous which it does, its extremely poor at conducting in reality though. What it does do though is makes the skin have a much better contact when live conductors are touched.

    that's a UK link but they quote a figure of 23/50 Kohm-measured from the rad etc. back to MET

    below-it's considered extraneous

    above -it's ignored
