Can't afford to drop points here and all three is a must if we want to keep in touch with the top four.

Can see VDV tearing them up, Carroll (reportedly) out but Daws molested him at the Lane so I wasn't too worried, hopefully Benny will make it - we really need a back-up LB, what will happen if he misses either of the Milan games!?! Anyways, Newcastle were a bit of a bogey team for us but IIRC we've won our last 3 games against them. Pardew will probably set us defensively against us again, which will probably suit us more away from home. Defoe to start for me, going for a 2-1 win, VDV, Defoe and Nolan.

Yep. Most of it has been played in the middle though. Your best best is to get us when we're on attack. Full backs are both out of position. I've a feeling we'll get caught out.
