    Going on a J1 this summer and looking to go somewhere different than Cali, New York Boston Chicago etc. Any ideas?

    Try north of Boston in Maine and NH sea coast. It is really pretty and all of NE seems to go there for vacation, so there should be plenty of work in Hotels, bars etc. Another place is Newport, RI. There is allot of expats there too...

    Las Vegas?

    I know a lot of people go there for holiday but what about for work? The unemployment situation has been bad there but its picking up again I think.

    it'd be a different place to work. great tips probably...
