Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Chrome and Helvetica

Got a problem when viewing certain websites.

Take a look at the following site:

    http://cargocollective.com/passport#603896/About-this-design

Dunno how it appears on your browser but on mine (Chrome, Win7) the text looks like this:
    x2ny11.png

It's fine on Internet Explorer (when rendered correctly the first word should be Cyberspace and the rest some random crap) and even worse on Firefox.

Looking at the backend it appears to be a problem with the Helvetica font (when I turned it off with "Inspect Element" it was okay), so I deleted/disabled all the Helvetica fonts in my directory and the problem is still there.

According to what people have been saying about the Firefox issue there's a way to stop websites rendering Helvetica Neue (by 'skipping' it in the CSS font queue) and use Arial instead: http://userstyles.org/styles/37774

I'm looking around for a Chrome version but no luck. If anybody could find it or offer another solution it's be greatly appreciated.

    Any advice?

    Win7 Pro/Chrome working fine here.

I think I have extra fonts installed with other software though. Add a few font packs and see if it helps.
