    Final warning for Torres.
What's the story there? What has Torres been doing?

    Lol from Maxi,

Torres and Meireles seem to have an understanding on the Torres Gerrard scale.

Tit for tat stuff with Stearman,

Ref has told him one more foul for him and it is yellow, think he was backing in the last time.

Is that Torres out of the Fulham game now?

Whatever about the yellow, it's great to see Torres so fired up and involved in the game.

    please god no, fantasy captain!

Two weeks in a row Johnson has dealt well with a tricky wideman. He looks so much more focused on his task. His positioning and body shape when facing up to Jarvis (and Coleman last week) is significantly improved.

Think after January first you have to accumulate 10 yellows to get a 2 game ban

Liverpool should knock in a couple more in the second half, Wolves have been really poor.
Hennessy is their main playmaker for God sake.

I think the multiple cards thing resets after a few months. I'm not positive, does someone else know for sure? Him being suspended couldd mess my ff week

Cheers everdead. That was the rule I was trying to think of

Premier League site has him as having 5 (not sure that includes today already), how many gets a ban?

    Thought it was 5 myself

The goal was pretty funny, looked like Maxi was trying his best to get himself offside and wreck it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,516 ✭✭✭Hoki

I notice no one is dragging Torres away from the ref - he is constantly mouthing at him, really hope it doesn't result in a red for him . Gerrard used to always get Torres away from them kind of situations.

    Yeah thought that myself :D

Just as well Meireles had the head and composure to wait for Torres!

I have distinct memories of whenever Torres plays of Jamie Carragher pushing him away from refs

That's why having a goalkeeper as captain is no use.

He's just doing it to piss Paul Merson off

Its 5 in the calender year not in the season, so he has to get 10 now to be suspended.

Mereiles has been fantastic for Liverpool, he can turn up anywhere on the pitch at any given moment. Torres has looked very lively and had an excellent game so far. He has to be careful now after the yellow, he has to keep his mouth shut and stay away from the referee. Thought Poulsen had a decent first half. Kelly has kept Hunt very quiet and with Fabio Capello at the game he could see himself getting called up to the England squad. That would be something after only a couple of first team games but I think he has looked impressive every time he has played for Liverpool. Glen Johnson has been decent as well. I think Maxi is the worst Liverpool player on the pitch, they could send on Pacheco or Aurelio which I think would improve things for them.

Not having the captain's armband on is no excuse for other players not to step up to calm things down.

Alonso was excellent at getting angry players away from refs and at calming things down. Didi was the same.

Poulson is actually playing very good. I thought once he got that yellow card in first few minutes it would have been a bad day. He played in Meireles nicely too for the goal. Aslong as he stays behind the ball he doesn't do much harm.

Jesus I had forgotten what it was like to see a Liverpool team actually play with some confidence. Mereiles has been excellent again. An early goal now would be great.

Excellent from Ward, and Jarvis messes it up,

Lively start on the left for Wolves.

Liverpool seem to be retreating into their shells now.

Mereles can actually find a pass, like Gerrard. we have very few players who can do that regular so its great to see him playing well :)

    Excellent ball from Maxi,

Kuyt messes it up, think he was worried about the keeper too much.
