tap water safe to drink in enniscrone?

    Recently moved to enniscrone in the last couple of weeks and have come down twice with sickness. I am just wondering if its safe to drink the tap water?

    Not sure but if you have any doubts, might be better to lay off it and just use bottled for a month and see how you go.

    Unless there are notices in your area not to drink it, then I'm sure it's fine.
    It's tested regularly to ensure it is fit for consumption.

    If it was dodge, then there would be notices on the radio and distributed locally to let people know.

    There's lots of bugs and bellyaches going round anyway.

    I use a filter but know people that do drink the tap water and its fine with them.

    when I am home in Sligo town I wouldn't use the tap water (except boiled in tea)

    Ours isn't safe for drinking (in town). Daughter kept getting stomach upsets from it, then it was tested and I was told it wasn't safe.
