Ford 6000cd mute & IGNS (handsfree)

    Hi, attempting to fit a handsfree to a ford mondeo mk2 with 6000cd.

    Just wondering if anybody knows if where the radio mute connection is?

    also if there is an igns conncection?


    Anybody fitted a car kit to one of these before? did you "squash" in the cable connections at the cable terminations or strip the power and earth wires further down the line?

    I snipped the cables in the end, so have my kit connected to the front right speaker... the power and earth. Would like to get the radio mute thing sorted if anybody knows anything! have been doing a lot of googling but nothing as of yet! maybe there is no mute....

    EDIT: Have it all connected now, but didn't find any info on an igns connection or the radio mute cable. Also locked my radio the process and had no unlock code! fortunatly i found this forum, which is very good if anybody is looking for a ford radio unlock code! http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=483687&page=828
