I didn't think Joe Hart did much wrong at all there. Only me?
No not just you, I'm in agreement anyways.

Good save from Friedel Would be nice if he had one of his best goalkeeper of all time performances against the blue half of Manchester for once :(

He pushed it right back into the danger zone.

I read Brad Friedel was declared bankrupt the other day.
Not the usual gambling addiction, apparently he spent all his money in some non-profit academy in the States to promote "soccer" over there,.

I think Joe Hart has been very dodgy of late. Made a few mistakes. Away to Leicster and today are two very dodgy moments

    Where is Makoun for Villa?

Hart didnt do much wrong there, city cb's have a bad habit of ball watching in those scenarios imo, seen it a few times in the last while.

You do realise Sunderland are 6th in the league don't you, and also won today? Everyone involved in football knew Bent would score goals at Villa, it's not exactly going to be a surprise to Steve Bruce.

It seems the "other" city have turned up tonight

Roberto needs to read the riot act at half time

He should of pushed it around the post, but its hardly a howler. 9/10 times keepers would get away with it.

City need a bloody kick up the arse here.

Kolarov looks an inferior player to Wayne Bridge imho.

I don't know why Mancini doesn't play him more? One of Citys better players who loves to run at defenders and has pace.

Agbonlahor really hasn't progressed all too much in the past few years has he? Was really promising a few years ago, but hasn't really built on it a whole heap. Seems to be a glorified version of Ryan Babel more than anything, i.e. freakishly athletic but not the brightest player. How is he regarded by Villa fans?

Wayne Bridge had a good game today i heard... But thats probably his first good game in 2 years! He was absolutely horrendous for City

As would I, he just seems to be a similar type of player - very direct, very fast and his best assets are mostly physical rather than mental. He's a few notches above Babel, but was just wondering what Villa fans think of him.

What a cross field ball from Kolorov.

    Love Kompany's composure.

he progressed a lot up til this season, now he's worse than he was at his worst point before this

i think houllier's right, he's bulked up way too much

He's their best player so far in the game IMO.

    Thought it was 90,000?

Either way, he does have the talent to earn his wage imo, he just hasn't produced it for us yet.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,092 ✭✭✭Le King

Joe Cole done well at Chelsea. Wayne Bridge was never that good IMO. He's on 95,000 grand a week. Crazy money for a player of his quality.

Hopefully the Villa surrender monkeys from last month show up in the second half otherwise we're fecked.

Kolarov reminds me of Stephen Hunt, loves to get forward but shows little end product.

Hes my biggest fear from that first half. Villa's defense are keeping Teves Dzenko and Silva relatively quiet but Kolorov has been given a lot of space and is almost an auxiluary winger at times for City.

    Bent :)

He should really do well at Villa as the focul point of Young, Downing, Albrighton etc created chances

I wasnt trying anything, was just giving my opinion. I wasnt wrong was I??? Thought Hart should of palmed it away for a corner, not into Bents feet. Even Keegan said it at half time there...
Think your blinded by Sky sports and the media mate hyping up Harte as the next Peter Shilton or David Seaman.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,476 ✭✭✭✭Ush1

City are having trouble with Villas quick closing down. Dzeko has had some nice touches.

Dunno what Gareth Barry is doing there, offers very little overall. Silva, Tevez and Yaya Toure all well off the pace, giving away possession often.

Fairytale start for Bent, as Houllier was saying, always scores on his debut.

    I don't have Sky Sports.

And it's Hart as in Joe, not Harte as in Ian.

    City kept that quiet!!
