JSA question?

myself and my partner have 3 children
at the minute we are getting a total of 408 a week jsa

my partner has been offered a job for 320 a week after tax
its 5 days a week

would i still be able to claim jsa for myself?
anyone know how much it would be or would i be better of on fis?

You can claim Jobseeker's Allowance as long as you are available for and looking for work. Your partner's earnings will be means however, so the amount you receive might be less than the full rate. http://www.citizensinformation.ie/en/social_welfare/irish_social_welfare_system/means_test_for_social_welfare_payments/means_test.html has more information on means testing.
Your partner needs to claim Family Income Supplement as long as he is working 19 or more hours in the week - if he is earning 320, and there is no other income into the house, the amount he would receive is 229.80. (if my calculations are correct).

Even if your partner claims FIS, you can also claim Jobseeker's Allowance, but your means will be calculated differently.
