milking parlour heaters?

    Hi i have a customer with problems each frosty morning with milking parlour pipes frozen ,does anyone know of suitable electric heaters i could mount over these pipes rated at about 1 to 2 kw and must be ip rated,many thanks

    I think what you really need is trace heating. This gives you heat where you want it i.e. on the pipes. Heating the whole parlour would be very expensive and impractical.

    The self relating heat trace used where I am working is 20 watts/meter.

    Definitely trace heating is the job here
