A draw tonight is about as useful as a defeat for Wigan. A draw means Sunderland will be +11 on Wigan and 3 pts ahead thus effectively safe.

I'm not confident at all about tonight but Wigan are relegated with a defeat and pretty much with a draw. Surely they'll put in a typical end of season display..

I didn't realise the GD was that much, thats going to be an issue cause they'll have to search for a winner if they are drawing.

Yeah I have a horrible feeling that Arsenal are going to score early and blitz Wigan :(

Arsenal win I think Newcastle will be the tougher opposition I think after Pardews comments he'll have to fight hard for it.

Players could be on holiday mode though.

To be fair he said what everybody was thinking. Nobody in the media was talking about it though. Now he's got everyone on his back so he'll have to get them fired up.

Heard a lot of Spurs fans and players have stated that Sunderland are a useless bunch of twats and a disgrace to football and have to agree :D:D:D:D:D:D

I'm going to bed now. When I wake up I expect to see some dropped points from Arsenal.

I think something about this has been up before but I couldn't find it when I searched.

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2279826/Arsenal-woeful-record-Mike-Dean-continues-Blackburn-defeat.html

Mike Dean has ref'd 15 Gooner games since 2009. The Goonies have only won one of them!

    Believe!

    COYS!

Looks like Wigan have Cup hangover, can't string 2 passes together since goal. Can see gunners scoring again

    Edit, this more like it

Hey Mike Dean is sound, LEAVE HIM ALONE!;)

But seriously I think Arteta just pulled the tiny genious Maloney down & it was a deffo free.. As for the "foul " on Carzola he made a meal of it & the ref correctly called it as he seen it..

    anyways 2nd half come Wiganz:D
