    Hi,

Myself and a few friends have signed up for this years Alpe Triathlon http://www.alpetriathlon.com/2011/.

After 100k on the bike, it ends with a gruelling ascent of the Alpe D'Huez. Anyway, enough complaining. Was wondering if anyone has any good routes in around hte Dublin / Wicklow area to help prepare us for this challenge.

Also, does anyone know of any triathlon / cycling clubs who have members doing this triathlon and if they are providing any transportation for the bikes.

    Cheers

    Montyb

Hey Montyb best of luck with this, looks pretty gruelling from the Eurosport Coverage during the summer, albeit the coverage of the PROs doesn't do the pain any justice  Its worth putting a post up on the Limerick Tri Club http://www.limericktriathlon.com/ forum as I know a couple of them are doing the Alpe D'huez Tri this year.
