Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all

I use the great portable apps.com platform on a memory stick.

I need to share this with many colleagues on several memory sticks.

Is it possible to create an image of a completed install and replicate
    this to several sticks?

    Thanks

    Found this,

    http://alternativeto.net/software/free-iso-creator/about

...which will make an iso 'image' of your memory stick that can be copied to other sticks.

Although the easiest thing to do is create a shared folder on your machine or the network called PortableApps. And get your colleagues to copy it over to a memory key that way.

So create a folder on your desktop, right click and enable sharing. (You can limit how many users that can have access to it).

Go to Start - Run. Type 'cmd' press enter. Then type ipconfig and press enter.

Now for those that want to see your shared drive they just go to Start - Run. Type \\<your IP address> and they can see\copy the files over to their machines.

    Thanks for posting your reply.

This application does not seem to be able to burn an entire drive i.e.
Removeable Drive (E:) or PortableApps (F:) drives to an ISO image.

I will try to get it to work and post any solutions I come across.

Might be a useful program for other tasks.
