    The reason I asked was because there was an Independent (or at least someone pruporting to be one) on the politics forum yesterday, encouraging people to bet on his almost certain seat with Paddy Power.

    For some reason, he couldn't see how this was wrong in any shape or form & thought it was "just a bit of fun".

    Very odd indeed.

    Anyway, the thread was deleted shortly after I asked the question here.

    Further to similar posts in Dublin County North (since deleted) I asked that poster via PM to contact hello@boards.ie on Monday so they could be verified.

    I've no idea if they took my advice.
