I'm genuinely surprised that so many people think Bendtner is having a good game. He hasn't been as poor as Arshavin but he is far from having a good game.

LOL - although I agree he's been poor up to this!!!

Why bring on Nasri and Walcott now!?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,818 ✭✭✭Minstrel27

Why not I say. van Persie is likely to break at any point so good to take him off when not needed :)

Got the job done in the end.

I thought Walcott should of started. Give us that pace to get in behind with a good ball but he must be saving him for the weekend in the FA cup.

    Wembley here we come.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,254 ✭✭✭shano_88

Wonder how hard it will be to get tickets for this?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 10,239 ✭✭✭✭KeithAFC

Apparently getting 31k tickets for it.

For much of the match Ipswich were much too deep for Walcott to have a impact major impact.

Leeds were deep at the Emirates and Walcott came on and changed the match. His pace is priceless to get in behind teams.

I didn't feel they were quite as negative myself, but I didn't get all of that match so could be wrong.

A trophy next month could do wonders for the team, but if we don't add a defender before this window closes, then we could fall short in the league. We're looking very good at the moment, but that can all change very quickly!

Yes, we're one injury away from a crisis. When Sagna, Szczesny and Koscielny went down this evening I feared the worst

Just back in from the game here and my main observation was how good Jack Wilshere was. Absolutely ran the show in midfield. Decent atmosphere at the ground too.

Cesc [!], Eboué, Clichy, Arshavin and Denilson were poor as far as I could see though the latter two were especially so. The more I see Denilson the more I think we should **** him out the door asap. Koscielny and Djourou were top class tonight as well.
